Model M267 from Zoeller gets our sewage pump recommendation.
This pump is a beast and weighs in at almost 50 pounds. Zoeller builds high-quality pumps and this pump is true to form.
The M267 is a heavy-duty pump from top to bottom. Cast iron construction for the vital parts, such as motor housing, base, and volume are essential if you want a pump to last for a long time.
Combine that with stainless steel fasteners and components, and it's clear that Zoeller knows how to build pumps.
The non-clogging vortex impeller allows this pump to pass solids with ease. With an oil-filled, thermally protected motor, this pump can handle almost anything.
Zoeller gives this pump a powder coated epoxy finish that prevents corrosion. This is extremely beneficial in conditions such as a sewage basin.
All of their pumps are pressure tested before they leave the factory. It provides a piece of mind that they stand behind their pumps.
We give Zoeller model M267 our "Best" recommendation and it lives up to the hype.

Expensive But Well Worth It

Ask a good plumber what they recommend and they would probably say Zoeller. They just work and last for a long time. Don't buy cheap sumps from the big box stores, I hear people saying that they are constantly bringing them back for replacement for one reason or another.
I had my plumber friend install 2 of these Zoeller M267's 10 years ago and they have not let me down since. With out question this is one of the best sewage pumps you can buy for your house. I highly recommend it.

Have been using M267 since 2000 in my old condo and in my SFH since 2016. I had the builder replace the ejector pump with an M267 before I moved in. I proactively replace every 8 years which is why I just ordered this one. I’ve never had a failure. The old pump looked really nasty but it was still running.

Replacement

Since this model lasted over 20 years we decided to replace it with the same model. We were disappointed for several reasons. First the delivery was late, then when we received it the screws for the base were loose, the pump looked like in was possibly taken apart and nicked like it had been dropped.
Then we find the exact product for $50.00 less within a 20 minute ride from our home.

Paid $$ For Long Life But Didn't Get It

Review Posted 04/25/2022
This looked to be a quality product and worked as promised initially. Installed in a driveway runoff basin, very limited use, and I had planned on many years of service but, in exactly 3 yrs. it quit. Of course it happened during a rain and pump was needed. Upon inspection the Plastic! impeller was in pieces inside suction chamber and the whole inside of motor was full of water. Better off getting a cheaper alternative probably last 3 years, and buy 2 for a backup.

Excellent Product - Super Quiet And Easy Install

Replaced a 9 year old Flotec in our basement with this pump. Installation was easy and straight forward. Installed this with the Zoeller quiet check valve and now we can't even tell if the pump is running it is so quiet. Pushes waste much faster than previous pump. All cast iron construction is nice and it appears to be well built and solid.

Jim - my local supplier is telling me the M267 is an acceptable replacement for the WM266 pump in my QwikJon. Upon inspection I can tell the design is slightly different but it would certainly 'fit' in the QwikJon basin. Thoughts?

I'm looking at using the M267 to move the water from a basin that will catch flow from 5 gutter downspouts. What is the duty cycle rating? When it rains, I expect this pump will run continuously and/or have lots of starts.
