This is a great system back up pump and battery can leave home and no worries. Wish it was a little cheaper but quality is good and is easy to service and change out components.

After cycling through the cheaper brands of pump, finally had two Pro Series 3033 installed. Draw 4.1 amps spinning up, push lots of water out the 2 inch discharge and water cooled …. Will buy these again.

When your sump pump fails, you want to drop in a replacement easily. Including building a PVC connection to the line and adjusting the float switch, installation took less than an hour.

This pump was purchased to replace the same model S3033 which was purchased 11 1/2 years ago. The old one outlasted 2 electronic switches.It sump pump operates 10 - 11 months of the year, so when it failed I immediately ordered an exact replacement.

Have been using this style and manufacturer for many years. I have a high water table and even during the summer run every 3 to 5 minutes. During a heavy rain may run for hours without stopping. I change the pump every 4 to 5 yrs as a precaution. Have never had an issue. Energy-efficient which is helpful during a power failure. Less draw on the marine batteries/power inverter when power is out. Coupled with a high lo switch makes a very good and dependable combination

A Better Replacement For 1/3 HP Pump

This pump provides a higher flow rate than the one it replaced, which was also 1/3 HP. Works fine. I hope the propeller is better than on the previous model. The old pump had a metal bottom strainer, which rusted and made the product inoperative. I note that this pump has a plastic strainer, so it should provide a rust-free product. The stainless coat is likely to be a non-factor in the pump life, but it will help if the propeller is stainless. I could not see into the assembly to determine the material. in any event, this is a good pump for use in yard drains (cistern for removal of water from a French drain system).

This is a great pump I have not installed it yet but I have the same existing pump that I was replacing because I thought it died but apparently it came back to life and is still running perfectly so this is the same pump and I swear by it

Today I had to order my third s3033-NS over a 9 year span. My pump doesn’t run every day but does run frequently during heavy rains. My first unit worked well for 7 years but my second unit last less than 2 years.
Hope my third gives me at least 5 years.
