Myers is a brand synonymous with quality and this Myers SRM4PC-1 4/10HP Sewage Pump is one bad pump! While it does offer a bit lower pumping capacities (3600GPH @ 10'hd), this is one of those pumps that just won't die. Of course, there are extenuating circumstances with any pump, but these monsters will hold up more than your average pump, hence the little higher than average price tag.

The non-clog, free-flow recessed vortex impeller design allows this pump to pass solids up to 2" & prevents clogging, improves the flow of solids and reduces the bearing load for longer life.

Between the high-torque, 4/10 HP PSC 12-Amp Motor that does not include any starting switches or relays to wear out, the long-life carbon/ceramic shaft seal that provides extra protection against water leaks and the stainless steel fasteners & pump shaft that provide superior corrosion resistance even in harsh conditions.

Review Myers SRM 4T20
By Jack C.

Review Posted 04/12/2024
Purchased my 3rd Myers SRM 4T 20 last November. Just put it in service approximately 3 weeks ago. The pump just failed. Tried to talk Myers tech support and got nowhere. The longest service I have ever received from this model has been 3 years and that was with me living solo. Can't even claim extensive use due to a large family. Myers is American made but I've seen far better products come from China! I just purchased a Liberty pump which is made in China. Would have loved to stay with American made but there's no way I'll ever purchase another Myers product . As far as I'm concerned Myers quality has gone to hell. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for a quality product should look elsewhere.

Works Perfectly, Easy Install
By Sandra M

Review Posted 12/08/2022
My original pump was the same Myers pump, 22 years old and still worked perfectly, until a disgruntled former tenant decided to flush a washcloth down the toilet. Who knows how many years it would’ve kept working. I had to do some research to find the same pump, as model number changed, but this is definitely a high quality product. I’m hoping to get decades of use out of this one, as well. By purchasing directly, and with the ease of installing, I saved about $2000 from what I was quoted for an inferior pump and labor from plumbers and septic companies in my area.

I had to replace my old pump when it started tripping the GFI whenever I plugged it into the wall. SPD had a replacement pump in stock and shipped it promptly it arrived in a couple of days. It fit perfectly in the old sump and hooked right up. No issues at all. The old pump was 15 years old.

Great For Pumping Poop!
By Dicks F.
California
Review Posted 05/28/2022
Previous identical model pumped all the water waste from a house to septic tank for 20 years before giving up. This replacement has done the same for 4 months now. Be sure nothing can restrict the swing of the float switch. If pumping sewage don't go for the cheaper hardware store sump pumps.

Second One I've Purchased
By Rob H.

Review Posted 02/17/2021
I purchased the first pump a few years ago to replace one that my drainage contractor installed and had quit working. The replacement was so easy to install as everything fit up perfectly a big plus.

Unfortunately it lasted about 3 months beyond the warranty and I ordered a second replacement. This one too was a snap to install as all of the original plumbing fit up perfectly.

Hopefully I'll get a bit more longevity out of this one, but whenever it goes out I'll replace with the same product.

Does What It Was Designed To Do.
By Gary S.

Purchased 11/04/2020 |
Review Posted 11/27/2020
This pump replaced the original Myers pump that was installed 10 years ago. My only issue was the tether float that failed due to the power cord being anchored to the pump. As this cord flexes at that anchor the cord has no support and breaks. As it shorted out the pump continued to run dry and caused the pump to seize. Design a chain tether to allow movement of the float would keep the cord from constant flexing would give it more reliable operation. Maybe a repair kit for existing installations would be a good idea and be consistent with the quality of this product.
