We have a backyard drain system that has two buried collection barrels and one of the pumps failed after 6 years due to a wiring fault (surprised it lasted that long). This pump, while labeled a sewage pump will chew up leaves, small sticks and yard debris washed into the drains. We love our sprinkler company but they wanted $1138 for the unit alone. I began sourcing it online. I had already been getting PED emails and was surprised when they popped up in a separate online search. There was one other source slightly cheaper but they seemed a little "chancey" on customer service, reliability, returns, etc... PED was in stock and had free shipping. I had it within a week for the crew to come back and install. Would recommend.

we use 2 of these pumps for a huge waterfall project we have. They have always worked well for us. Power Equipment Direct shipped right away and these pumps were received just a couple days after our order was placed.

Drop in replacement for the older 9SN model. Sort of ... the discharge port is about 1" higher up from bottom of the sump, so I had to shorten the existing vertical discharge pipe. Not a big thing. SPD shipped the item from the manufacturer, so it took 8 days to arrive. Not optimal if you are up to your hip boots in anything. No info from SPF on when it shipped, no tracking info was provided, it just showed up on my porch on day 8.
