Don't let the size and HP rating of this pump fool you.
It will handle high (50+' Max) and long discharge runs and will grind up and spit out just about anything you "throw" at it. The cast iron, 2-vane impeller and V-Slice® Cutter Technology cutting blades that will grind just about anything to a pulp. And with its stainless steel rotor shaft wtih unitized silicon carbon ceal, this pump will operate for years without ever needing any replacement.
With this kind of quality and a 3-year warranty, the Liberty PRG1010A, 1HP Grinder Pump earns our recommendation.

This thing works well. I installed it at a cabin that I use to rent on VRBO and now when people flush their tampons down the toilet I don’t have to worry about my pump clogging.

We have messed around with standard pumps for way too long. Installing this unit has saved my maintenance crew many hours and having to deal with waste. I would recommend this unit for your worse conditions as it has proven itself here.

When first received the float cable was damaged but was quickly sent a replacement. Pump was installed and has performed flawlessly since 2013 unlike the little blue competitor. I highly recommend this purchase it is well worth the extra $$ for the peace of mind.

Received pump very fast, installation was very easy, very well made , with common sense design with piggy back AC float connection that can easily Be replaced if ever needed. It was expensive, but you generally get what is paid for .This is the first grinder pump that I have purchased, hopefully it has longevity.

WAR MACHINE!!!!

This thing is built to destroy, destroy again, and destroy some more!!! I would not recommend ANY OTHER PUMP but this or better(if there is any that exists). Look if there is anything worth spending top dollar on is something that will be able to handle the toughest sewage conditions. Why would anyone take a chance and have corn floating on your floor? I only wish I bought it sooner. Again I don’t know how anyone could debate not spending the money on this, like seriously you wanna take a chance cleaning up sewage?
This thing will absolutely not clog, and it’s powerful. Drains a 30inch pit in less than 4 seconds. Listen folks spend the money, save yourself from a nightmare. Buy an alarm system god for bid you lose power or should it fail somehow. Research, you’ll find there is no better pump out there, and invest in protecting your basement! If your a guy like me you worked hard to keep your basement clean, neat , and it may have costed a lot to finish that beautiful man cave. Now it’s time to protect it!!!

A bit pricey for sure, but seems to be of good quality. It fired right up, ran quietly, and had good power after install. Have only ran clear water for a few minutes, a couple of times so far to test it. Will update this review after it's been in use for some time.

After replacing damaged "new" pump because of a damaged wire harness, the pump was finally installed. I am very pleased with the finished product. The NEW pump is quiet, powerful and efficient. I would recommend this pump to anyone.

What is the voltage on this equipment?
Lynne

March 29, 2017
Hi Jim,
how long can the 2" discharge line be? in other words how far can the pump be located from the drain that will drain by gravity, pitch.
I am planning to install Liberty Pumps PRG101A - 1 HP ProVore® Residential Grinder Pump (2") w/ Piggyback Tether Float about 60 feet away from the house where eventually I plan to connect discharge pipe. the difference in elevation is about 4 feet but its about 60 feet away. is this pump going to work, or any other pump?? is there a min or max the discharge line should be before connecting to main house drain?? TIA Jim!!!
