This Thing Is A Beast!

I bought this 3/4 HP pump to replace an old 1/2 HP pump, for the faster gpm and extra year of warranty. So far, everything is working well. This pump drains the crock in about 4 seconds!
Word of caution: When making the flow test before final closure, look out for that 3/16" hole above where the outlet pipe threads into the pump. As soon as the water level drops below the 3/16" hole, the force of the pump sends out a strong jet of water against the crock wall that gets everything wet with a fine mist. It happens so fast you won't know what just happened. Gross lesson learned the hard way - put cardboard or something over the crock for the test run.
Shipping tip - please ship these in a second heavy duty box. The pump is heavy and my box was in rough shape by the time I received it (pump was fine). The box handles were torn away useless and the box corners were rounded, making the box hard to move.

We ordered two of these pumps and one arrived dead on arrival and the other died after 1 week. Apparently no QA being done on these units. One unit dead is a fluke...both, is lack of QA controls.

I purchased this pump to preventatively replace a 22-year old pump that still worked. The pump I had was thermoplastic and the E75STVT is much heavier. The 5-year warranty was a major attraction to me. The installation went as expected, no issues. The bottom of my sewage basin is not entirely flat, it is plastic and slightly uneven, and the 2" pipe outlet in the lid is very close to the basin wall, so I had to place fairly large coroplast pieces under two of the three pump's three legs to make the vertical pipe come out where I needed it to. It would have been nice to have leveling bolts in the pump legs, but this feature is not seen in these pumps.
I prefer the tethered float system IMO the integrated switches, immersed in the sewage, at one of the primary points of failure of other designs. I added an alarm float, so if there is an issue with the pump I can at least try and wire it directly to empty the basin, then troubleshoot the float.
The pump is very quiet in my installation. In fact I can't hear the pump operating at all, I can only hear the water rushing through the pipes. Although I can't yet comment on the longevity, I highly recommend this pump based on its performance and quiet operation.
