Very Quiet

I've heard of some "silent" check valves being not so quiet. This one makes almost no sound besides the water rushing through. It's eliminated the kick that was causing us so much headache (and rupturing some couplings).

Easy to install and works like a charm! My old check valve could be heard from the other end of my home after a cycle was complete. This valve has literally no sound. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

Works As Expected But Will See How Long It Will Last

Just bought and replaced the regular one what generates a loud water bang every time the the pump is activated and turned off. It is about 90% more quiet and it also works to significantly reduce the shake or vibration from the water kickback. It is made easy to be installed.
The valve are glued together by 3 main pieces. If you weigh the price against the valve replacement, i rather buy a really good one and less concerned about the price. By the look at it, it is not a well build valve but will see how long it will last.

This is the third Camis CC00SL20 I've installed and each time it immediately stopped the banging when the sump pump turned off. They only last about two years until they wear out and the banging returns but for the price it is well worth it.

Good System Fom Sump Pumps Direct
By Daniel S.

In June of 2018 I teamed this check valve up with a new Storm Pro BA50 1/2 horse manual sump pump and a LevelGuard solid state pump switch. In my installation the valve is absolutely quiet although the sound level can depend on the head above the valve. I like the transparent case that allows you to see the flap valve operating and the water flow. It's more entertaining than most of the recent TV shows.
The Camis valve has two valve components. The lower main valve is a conventional "toilet seat lid" type of flapper valve that opens with water flow. The upper secondary section is a "saloon door" type of valve with two halves that open like a double saloon door. When closed, the two halves have a narrow gap between them that allows water to pass slowly through. This provides a damper for the lower valve to close more slowly suppressing the water hammer during reverse recovery of the valve. No springs or damper chambers. Simple but effective. I have not had the valve in service for very long but the materials and the design suggest that it would be no less or no more reliable than conventional check valves. They all fail eventually.
I would like to add that the Storm Pro pump is the quietest pump I have ever heard. There is a very low hum while it is running only audible if you are standing right over the sump. It has a small footprint and fits in the hole well with a co-located backup pump.
The LevelGuard speaks for itself. No mechanical switch can compete for reliability or performance. I have seen some poor reviews of the LevelGuard. Two points on that. First, anything can fail from lightning strikes. Second, because it has an intelligent processor in it, it does an initial powerup learning routine to determine the pumpout time of your particular sump. It may shortcycle at first but let it cycle a dozen times. After it learns the pump characteristics it will be the best sump switch you ever had. Read the manual. I'm an electronics design engineer and I can give a professional opinion that this switch is well engineered.

Built a brand new condo 4 years ago and have listened to that stupid thump. Shame on me. 30 Minutes to install and works great. You can keep your sliced bread. I'll take this bad boy. This should be an industry standard.

Just installed this to quiet the thump from my secondary pump. So far, so good. I'll find out more after the expected rain this weekend.
It was extremely easy to install and on fact it took more time to remove the old unit, then installing this one.
