Have more ground water than expected, this pump has pump a lot of water without failing. Do not drag the hose.

Purchased the discharge hose with the Tsunami pump. Pump is great, the hose is a piece of junk that punctures easily. In one week the hose has 6 pin hole leaks that are getting larger with each use. Spend a little extra to find a heavy duty hose that is coated by Kevlar or some stronger material than the thin PVC used for this hose.

Need better connections at the ends where the hose is clamped to the fittings. If two hoses are connected then you will have a water puddle where not wanted or spraying on the pump if that connector is leaking.

These hoses are supposed to have a working pressure of 70 psi (and a higher test pressure). My pump puts out a maximum of 64 psi and I had a nozzle on the discharge end that was open (not shutting off flow). One hose split at the pump-side fitting the second time I used it. Then the replacement hose failed at both ends as soon as water flowed from the nozzle. I noted that another reviewer noted similar problems but was just told to call the manufacturer (UNSAT response!!).

Very sorry that you experienced issues with these hoses. These are discharge hoses and are designed for open ended use only. We have updated the site to reflect that. The type of fitting on these hoses are not able to handle back-pressure when a nozzle is used.
